2011 UPDATES RELATED TO ORMOND BEACH AIRPORT NOISE AND SAFETY ISSUES
(most recent is first)
12-5-11 - Continuous flow of
documented airplanes not following the requested flight path from 11 am to 11:20
am. There were more flights I did not document from about 9 am to noon and
about 1 pm to 3 pm.
2011 EASA (Euro Aviation School)
SOLO Pilots for 2011 - No instructors necessary
11-21-11 Several recent submissions to City of
Ormond Beach website, Report a Concern I have made. I was busy and unable
to list each one individually. They are for the following days I made
them: 10/26; 11/2; 11/13 (2); 11/14; 11/20.
11-21-11 - Accumulation of emails I
received from an individual "Shawn" ref. Embry Riddle airplanes. Although
these appear to be focused on the Pierson area, they still show how annoying
Embry Riddle flights can be to people

regarding Embry Riddle University
10-2-11- Article about Airports/Flight Schools and Noise on the front
page of the Daytona Beach News Journal. Here is the link to that article:

schools. Of the 12, Euro American School of Aviation (formerly Ormond
Beach Aviation -good idea to change their name after several incidents) was
involved in 6. Embry Riddle
University was involved in two and Sunrise Aviation one.

the air. A major portion of the work being done at the Daytona Beach Int.
Airport was completed and part of the runway under construction was reopened.
